                                 ORDINANCE NO. 9800
                  
                  
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 900 OAK
                   STREET FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4
                   SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 900 Oak Street being on the
              southwest line of Oak Street at Fort Wood Place.  Part
              of lot 1, Richmond's Addition to Chattanooga, as shown
              by plat of record in plat book 1, page 34, R.O.H.C.;
              being the property described in deed book 2364, page
              246, R.O.H.C.  Tax Map No. 146H-F-15.
             
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
         	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
